The Gt. Orme Tramway has been embracing visitors since opening on the 31st July 1902. The tramway was an engineering marvel of its day, and is still the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on UK public roads.

Stop at the Halfway Station exhibition and discover the fascinating funicular tramway - then follow on to enjoy the spectacular ride to the summit.

Re-live the marvel of travel more than 100 years ago in the original tramcars - each one is named after a Saint. The whole tramway has been lovingly restored,
ready to serve the 21st century.
